Momentum Leaders: AYO and NIDA collaboration 2025

History

In February 2025, the first Momentum Leaders cohort, featuring AYO participants Julia Magri, Paul Nicolaou, Elliot Plumpton, Jet Chong, Abigail Lui, Jessica Scott, and Kit Millais, alongside NIDA alumni Sudip Sauden and Lily Thomson, gathered at the Redland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane for an intensive period of creative exploration under the guidance of industry luminaries. The intensive was closed out with performance resulting from the collaboration, titled UNTOLD, a newly devised work where movement, music, and storytelling collided. The pilot Momentum leaders was a huge success, where the leadership program set out to make everyone employable by graduation in the creative industries.
