AYO is committed to ensuring that all eligible musicians are able to participate in our programs regardless of financial and geographic barriers. We have a generous financial assistance program that helps participants offset the program fees and travel costs associated with attending AYO programs.

Scholarships Available

Scholarships open to all successful applicants and is means-tested to ensure those with the greatest need receive assistance.

Payment Options

Applicants may wait to receive the outcome of their scholarship application before paying their program fees. In addition to this, AYO offers musicians the option of setting up a payment plan.

First Nations Fee Waiver

From 2024, AYO has waived the application fee for all First Nations applicants.

Financial assistance is made possible through support from the Australian Government, Trusts and Foundations and our generous donors. AYO manages a number of endowment funds and scholarships. Learn more.
