Composer Felicity Handreck (b. 2004) has been described as an artist with “rare natural ability and curiosity”. Originally from the Western District of Victoria, Felicity moved to Brisbane in 2025 to begin a Bachelor of Music at The University of Queensland where she studies composition under Professor Paul Dean. Felicity was a nominee in the Film/Media Scoring (Youth Division) of the 2022 Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards. Her entry showed “early talent and potential in the screen-scoring field,” with moments of her music being compared to John Lunn’s score to Downton Abbey. She also completed her Certificate of Performance for piano through the AMEB in 2022. Felicity has ambitious plans for her future composition and continues sharing her love of music with others.
