Kaito Deed began studying the violin at age 4 in Japan, later learning under Karina Hollands on the Central Coast. He is currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Ole Bohn, being a recipient of the Ted and Susan Meller Memorial Scholarship.
As a soloist, he has had the opportunity to perform the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Central Coast Symphony after winning the Central Coast Concerto Competition. He has benefitted from several scholarships over the years from the Central Coast Conservatorium and other local arts organisations.
Kaito is an active chamber musician, being a finalist in Musica Viva’s “Strike a Chord” competition and enjoying his time with his quartet at Sydney Conservatorium. Kaito has also been a longtime Central Coast Youth Orchestra member, as well as being concertmaster of the NSW Regional Youth Orchestra from 2022-2025, touring Europe in 2025.
