Liam Beak is a 15-year-old Grade 11 student with a deep commitment to the violin. Liam began learning the violin at 7 earning numerous awards at eisteddfods such as Redlands and Beenleigh. He has been an avid member of Queensland Youth Orchestra since 2021 and achieved his AMusA diploma by 2023.
In 2024, Liam was selected to perform the Bruch Violin Concerto in a series of concerts across Queensland with QYO, including a tour performance in Maryborough. In 2024 Liam first joined AYO participating in the Young Symphonist program. In the same year he completed his LmusA with his previous teacher Spiros Rantos. Currently Liam learns from Natsuko Yoshimoto and enjoys playing chamber music. This led to his invitation to the Adam Summer School for chamber music in New Zealand.
