A personable and confident double bass player, Luca Arcaro is an experienced and versatile musician with a deep love for the arts and learning. With his foundation in classical music, Luca regularly performs with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and has also played with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared as Principal Double Bass with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra and performed concertos with various ensembles across Melbourne, where he is based. Beyond classical performance, Luca is equally at home in jazz and improvised music and has played an eclectic mix of styles at venues throughout Melbourne. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, majoring in bioengineering, Luca loves trying and learning new things in all areas of the world.
