About the Chamber Players Program
Dive headfirst into the exciting challenge of chamber music with AYO Chamber Players. You will be mentored by leading musicians working in the arts industry. You will study a range of repertoire, further developing your skills and laying the foundations for a successful career in small ensemble playing.
Join your peers as part of a string quartet, wind quintet or brass quintet and be tutored by some of Australia’s leading chamber musicians.
Artists
Unfortunately, due to limited places in 2025, we are not accepting applications for established ensembles.
Cost:
$1,125
AYO will arrange and cover interstate travel and instrument freight, if required. All meals, transfers and accommodation will be provided.
Financial assistance is available to help offset the program fees and ensure all eligible musicians are able to participate. Find out more here.
Age:
18 – 28
Inclusive as at 1 January 2025.
Eligibility:
Open to individual applicants of Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpet, Tenor Trombone, Bass Trombone and Tuba.
Standard:
Open to tertiary or post-graduate performance standard
