On Saturday 30 September, the AYO Young Symphonists played to a packed house at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre under the baton of Simon Hewett!

After an intensive week of rehearsals, the orchestra presented their unique take on Britten’s exuberant The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and a triumphant interpretation of Rachmaninov’s Symphony No.2.

We are so proud of these 60 young musicians and how hard they worked over the course of the program.
