We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team based in our Chippendale office. The role is responsible for the effective and efficient processing of financial transactions for AYO including the accurate data entry of accounts payable and accounts receivable in the finance system (Xero) and the AYO database (Salesforce), and the reconciliation of all balance sheet items.
As part of a small team, the Finance Assistant will also contribute to the effective and collaborative running of the office. Persons from First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are warmly encouraged to apply.
The role would suit a detail-oriented, accurate and data-driven professional who has great organisational skills. They are also an excellent written and oral communicator who likes to contribute and add value across all the organisation. A qualification in accounting/finance or equivalent is desirable with 2-3 years’ experience working in an office environment.
