One of the peak programs for players seriously engaged in chamber music, this year’s AYO Chamber Players program, integrated into the 2013 Musica Viva Festival, offers over thirty of Australia’s best and brightest young musicians the opportunity to work with some of the world’s greatest chamber musicians. This year, Pieter Wispelwey, cello, is Music Director for the program. Comprising five string quartets, three piano trios, and one wind quintet, AYO Chamber Players will culminate in a series of ten masterclasses and concerts all held at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, April 2 – 7.
