AYO has a special message for our supporters. Thanks to your passion and commitment, our future is looking very bright indeed.

Our current training and performance programs will maintain their renowned high standard of excellence. More young musicians will make the exhilarating leap into music careers. New global audience members will tune into AYO’s inspirational digital workshops and concerts. Technology will deliver value for students, supporters and audiences more efficiently. The world’s best conductors will elevate musicians to new artistic heights.

These activities will continue to take shape, in large part thanks to the response we received to AYO’s ‘Create a Bright Future’ Gift Match Appeal.

Our goal for the Appeal was to raise $40,000 to support new and existing activities that will train more musicians, connect to new audiences and improve services. The campaign was boosted by endorsement from Creative Partnerships Australia, who agreed to match our target funds.

So how did we go?

AYO’s community went above and beyond to donate a staggering $57,400. With the Creative Partnerships Gift Match funding of $40,000 we have raised almost $100,000 to support AYO activities. Plus we continue to receive donations from loyal supporters to other AYO funds.
This support gives such a motivating message to our musicians, and demonstrates that our community is truly passionate about investing in their future.

Donors contributed to the Appeal at all financial levels with the knowledge that even small donations have an impact. We welcomed many new donors to the community including concert attendee Dr. George Heinshon, who said:

‘I’ve been attending the wonderful AYO national music camp concerts for years, and am always very impressed by the artistic standard. I’ve been meaning to donate for years and have now been motivated to start supporting these outstanding musicians’.
