Nathan Wayne is a 16-year-old violinist from Camberwell Grammar School in Melbourne Australia. He began studying the violin at the age of six with Mr Robin Venables, and now continues his musical journey under the guidance of Dr Elizabeth Sellars. A highly motivated and dedicated musician, he is deeply passionate about both solo and ensemble performance.

Nathan was awarded the AMusA Diploma (2023) and the LMusA Diploma (2024), both with distinction. In 2025, he was invited to perform at the AMEB Conferring of Diplomas Ceremony.

As a music scholar at Camberwell Grammar School, Nathan plays an active role in the school’s vibrant music programs, performing in the CGS Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Highton Strings ensemble. Beyond school, he has achieved success in eisteddfods across Australia and international competitions, and has taken part in Australian Youth Orchestra (AYO) programs, collaborating with outstanding young musicians from across Australia.

Beyond music, Nathan is a keen sports enthusiast. He enjoys gym training, swimming, running, table tennis, chess, and fencing.
