About
Sarah Huang is a 2026 Media and Communications Fellow. During her time at National Music Camp, she was mentored by Andrew Aronowicz, composer and former program producer at ABC Classic. Since finishing her program, Sarah has taken many media opportunities afforded by her experiences at National Music Camp, including being a volunteer radio presenter at Perth’s RTRFM as well as program note writer and reviewer for Australian Youth Orchestra concerts and conferences.
She is a Perth-based pianist and educator, holding a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Australia, specialising in piano performance and musicology. Her love of words has led her to pursue an honours degree in musicology at UWA,
fulfilling a lifelong dream to “write something really cool and way too long”.
Sarah is a lively advocate for the accessibility and diversity of music education. Whether it be through teaching, writing or creating videos, she is constantly looking for creative ways to communicate about music.
