Vanessa Liang is a Year 10 student at Melbourne Girls Grammar School and an emerging Australian violist and pianist. She holds Licentiate in Music Australia (LMusA) diplomas in both viola and piano. She is one of the viola leaders of the Melbourne Youth Orchestra and principal violist for several youth ensembles. Vanessa has performed internationally across Europe and Asia and has won numerous international piano competitions.
Passionate about connecting music to make a meaningful social impact, Vanessa is a founding member of Slentando Charity, bringing live performances and joy to elderly communities. She also founded the Steinway Charity Concert for St Vincent’s Hospital Foundation, harnessing the power of music to inspire generosity and support vital hospital fundraising initiatives.
