Vale Cecily Frémaux
Vale Australian Youth Orchestra alumna, Cecily Fremaux (nee Hake), who has recently died in France.
Cecily was a gifted cellist who attended the 1959 and 1960 National Music Camps and was also a member of AYO for the 1962 and 1963 seasons.
Cecily later joined the cello section of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and she married Louis Fremaux during his tenure as Chief Conductor from 1979 -83, later living in France.
