For 75 years, the Australian Youth Orchestra has been providing exceptional, life-changing opportunities for the best young musicians in Australia. From humble beginnings in 1948 to today, AYO has grown into a wide-reaching education and training organisation and is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest youth orchestras.
Please consider making a gift to AYO. With your help, we can inspire the next generation of brilliant, young musicians and enable opportunities for participants for years to come.
A Gift of Music, Today
We believe that talent should be the only criteria for participating in our programs. By making a gift to AYO today, you can help us:
- Sustain the quality and reach of unique pathways, by allowing us to allocate your gift where it’s most needed by supporting AYO Priorities
- Transform a young musician’s life and allow our most gifted musicians access to our programs through AYO Scholarships
- Empower young musicians with the opportunity to represent Australia as cultural ambassadors on the world stage on an International Tour
- Connect the country’s best young musicians with our leading music training program by supporting National Music Camp, Young Symphonists, and AYO seasons via our Orchestral Pathways
- Inspire participants and audiences alike to explore music in new and diverse ways by contributing to our Community Fund
- Create opportunities for every child to access quality music education in classrooms across Australia through the National Music Teacher Mentoring Program
A Gift that will last for Generations – AYO Bequests
We seek to ensure that young, talented musicians can participate in our programs, regardless of location or socio-economic background. By including us in your estate plans, you become a member of the John Bishop Circle and part of our musical legacy. Your commitment to AYO will have a lasting impact for generations to come. A bequest is testimony of your belief, trust, and love of AYO. There are several ways in which you can make a gift in your will.
Please contact Kimbali Harding (CEO) for a confidential discussion. Any gift, no matter the size, will make an enormous different towards the future of AYO and young musicians for generations to come.
A Gift that goes to the Heart – Trusts & Foundations
Support from Trusts & Foundations goes to the heart of AYO – from sustaining our core activities and developing training programs, to ensuring access for young musicians from across Australia. In giving to AYO through your Foundation or PAF, you become a Program Partner and a crucial part of our successful training pathways. As a partner, you can help our participants discover, explore, and participate in life-changing musical and training opportunities.
A Gift that celebrates Excellence – Corporate Partnerships
Partnering with AYO enables you and your company to play an important role in advocating and providing musical excellence, education, and opportunities for the next generation. By becoming a Corporate Partner, you are demonstrating a commitment to future of music in Australia, and we invite you to celebrate excellence through a range of engagement opportunities.
